mas malaki sizing ng hjc compared to zeus, sa zeus xl ako, sa hjc i fit fine sa medium.

kung quality naman, ok din ang zeus specially sa price, i have one, 2000a model, saved me twice already.

sa quality naman ng hjc, no question about it, internationally recognized pa, used by professional racers. for reviews about their cl-sp model and ac-carbon model go to webbikeworld.com im planning to buy myself an hjc also.

I own both brands as well as US brands like KBC & ICON. If i have to narrow my choices from the 2 brands, id personally choose HJC.

But if youre interested, I have a KBC Flare that i brought back with me from the US last month. I was getting it for a ride buddy but when I arrive with the Helmet, i found out that he couldnt wait for me to get back & he ended up buying another one. I know how hard it is finding apparels that are above L here in this country let alone the right ones for "both" Heads!!! Bwahaha!!! :nuts:

Size is XXL, acquired it slightly used & in excellent condition. It might just be the Helmet & Quality you are looking for.

Although may dot recognition ang zeus... iba pa rin ang HJC dahil ito ang no1. choice ng U.S. market in terms of helmet.

Para sa akin mas-ok ang HJC kasi quality ang finnish, maganda ang design at features. Kung meron kang extra budget choose HJC na kaysa sa Zeus. Kung i compare ito sa mga well known at reliable brands hindi ito matatalo sa quality, fit and finnish at features pero mas-murang mura.

IMHO mas matibay at hindi gasgasin ang visor ng HJC kumpara sa ZEUS.

ac12 nsa 8K to 9K..pero mg FG10 kna lng.mas astig porma kesa ac12..kasi parang same shell sila ng CL-sp. ung symax nsa 8K.. try mo check ung shell nila sa website ng hjc.. ma

this is my 1st HJC CL12 Helmet w/ smoke lens and its already 4 years old, , even it has its ups & downs and her battle scares, it still looks good

yes sir, 4 years nga. ito pa ang mga bagong model lumabas ng mga early 2004. Pa ibang iba na ako bike, pero ito parin gamit kong helmet.Price cant remember? i'm not sure? basta parang less than pero hindi lalagpas ng P4.5k, i think? go to Thriumph sa west ave or sa caloocan ang dami HJC dun.

I got a CL12 too and it about 5 years old, served me well. I'll be replacing it with another HJC helmet soon.

Kaya kung meron kayong budget for model CL-14 or CL-15 or CL-SP or newest model yun na ang piliin. Magagamit naman ito ng three to five years.

Paano kung 2 or 3 years old na pala ang helmet na nabili? Naka-stock or old stock na. Kahit brandnew pero old model na. I think magagamit lang ito ng 2 or 3 years nalang kasi ang helmet ay up to five years lang ang alam kong maximum expiration date.

Sorry sa maling post ko na "brandnew pero old model na.". I mean kahit hindi pa use pero old model na helmet. Usually ang binebenta ng mura or naka-sale kasi ay old model (mga siguro at least three year old or less). Hindi pa gamit. Pero ang quality nito ay nag-de-deteriorate na. Para sa akin hindi na safe gamitin ng matagalan. Makikita mo kasi ang deterioration ang bilis kapag ginamit mo na. Ganun ang na-experience ko. Siguro dahil matagal na naka stock at hindi nabebenta. Kaya ang bilis mag-deteriote kapag ginamit mo. Doon palang sa display center or tindahan makikita mo ang itsura kung fresh pa. At makikita mo kung hindi pa deteriorated ang itsura pati ang lower lining.

Check the inner liners, usually theres a tag there indicating when the helmet was made. This can tell you if you'll still be able to use for a full 5 year period.

Pero I think dapat tignan din ang helmet physically. Lalo na ang older models ng HJC. Para sure talagang hindi pa ito nag-de-deteriorate. Inspect itong mabuti lalo na ang linings sa lower part (yung kulay black). I don't know kung tama ang term na 'linings' na tinutukoy ko. Kasi natatangal kagad ito. Dahil siguro sa tagal na naka-stock or naka-display sa dealer. Hindi nabebenta. Kaya ito ganito siguro.

Oo nga pala pati ang chin strap ang daling nag-deteriote ng helmet ko. Yung model nito ay FG10K. Nabili ko ito last I think 2004 siguro. Pero I'm not sure sa exact date. Sabagay noong binili ko ay hindi halata na nag-de-deteriote na ito. Better visit yung site ng HJC para makita ang models doon na bago. Usually bagong model ang sa site ng HJC as far as I know. Pero again check it first properly bago ito bilhin. Kahit anung helmet applicable or advisable na check muna properly bago bilhin siempre.

Nakaka-limang HJC models na ako ng helmet pero ang nabili kong naka-sale lang ang mabilis na nag-deteriote. Siguro nga kasi na-stock ito ng matagal sa dealer kaya ganun...

As far as I know ang mga latest na HJC models ngayon ay made in Korea (kagaya ng CL-SP). So ibig sabihin mas-ok. Meron open-face at CL-12 model na mura na made in China. Ang company na HJC ay alam ko ang nag-mamay-ari ay Koreans din. Alam ko walang U.S. made na HJC. Pero alam ko meron din made in Japan.

Meron din akong nabili last 2002 pa yata or 2001 na HJC CL-12 (Star Checker model) pero made in Korea siya. Quality talaga ang fit and finnish at head turner din siya. Kaso hindi siya removable at washable linings at cheek pads. Pero overall talagang maganda at comfortable gamitin.

Ang acronym na HJC ay Hong Jin Crown Corporation yata ang ibig sabihin nito.

korean brand na mahusay tlga kaya top selling sa US.. kse ndi kasing mahal ng shoie arai agv pero pwedeng pang substitute kung wala ka masyado bdget for an arai helmet at saka yung mga higher end na.. :)
