SPYDER ADVENTURE CONCEPTS, the company that brings you Spyder eyewear and helmets, recently partnered with the United Cyclists Association of the Philippines (UCAP) to hold the Grand Draw of its BIG BIKE BLOWOUT Raffle Promo at the 5th leg of its Inter-City Cycling Competition. The Criterium Race called “Sigaw ng Kalikasan” was held last August 2 at the Rockwell Center complex in Makati City. Cyclists from 4 Divisions, Masters A and B, Executives and Elite raced for prizes and prestige, braving unpredictable weather. The tight flat course that ran around the peripheral roads of the Rockwell complex which was very spectator-friendly, the weather was perfect for racing most of the morning. Each division took 20 laps around the well-paved asphalt course. The race winners are as follows:

This Grand Raffle promo is Spyder’s way of giving back to all its loyal customers: cyclists, runners, triathletes, motorcycle and motorsports enthusiasts, people who love the outdoors, who have supported the brand since it was launched 7 years ago. It was the 3rd and final draw of the Raffle Promo that was launched November 2008. For the entire promo, Spyder gave away a total of 60 bicycle helmets, 30 motorcycle helmets, 15 iPods, 12 Olympus waterproof digital cameras, 9 Mountain Bikes, 6 3G iPhones, 3 Honda XRMs and 1 Honda CBR600 RR for the grand prize. Spyder also raffled-off more eyewear and cycling helmets in a special draw for the registered participants of the day’s races.

The event was also a clear manifestation of Spyder’s continued support for cycling sports, and its commitment to continue coming up with products that will allow athletes and enthusiasts to go – Beyond Limits!

MECHANICS AND RULES
Raffle promo is open to all consumers who purchase Spyder Eyewear (optical frames or sunglasses) and Helmets from participating outlets* under the following guidelines and mechanics:

a. The consumer shall be entitled to one (1) raffle coupon for every pair of Spyder eyewear or helmet purchased.

b. The entry stub of the raffle coupon should be filled out by the consumer with their information (full name, telephone number, address, email and signature) and dropped in the drop boxes provided at participating Spyder dealer locations. Drop box locations will be same as participating outlets.

c. The consumer is required to keep the claim stub for presentation, along with a valid ID, and the official winner’s notice to claim the winning prize, in case drawn as winner.

d. There shall be three (3) Quarterly draws to be determined by drawing of entries from tambiolo for the duration of the promotion with draw dates and deadline for sumbmission of entries at dealer locations as follows :

f. All non winning entries after each draw will be automatically included in the succeeding draw(s).

g. A contestant may win a prize only once in a draw. If a person wins more than once, he shall be awarded the higher prize only and the lower prize shall be re-drawn for a new winner.

h. Winning entries will be posted in the SPYDER website within fifteen (15) days from the respective draw dates. Winners will be advised by registered mail, email, and sms text message.

i. Winners shall be required to present the claim stub, valid ID, and registered notice for winners.

j. All prizes must be claimed within 60 days from receipt of the registered mail. All unclaimed prizes shall be forfeited in favor of Spyder with prior DTI approval.

k. Winners within GMA may claim their prizes from the Spyder office. Provincial winners, except winners of motorcycles and mountain bikes, may have their prizes shipped to their home addresses within the Philippines at the expense of Spyder, upon sending and submission of winning claim stub, valid ID, and registered notice for the winning prize.

l. Shipping and registration charges for motorcycles and mountain bikes shall be for the account of the winners.

m. All prizes are tax paid and non convertible to cash.

n. Employees of Spyder, their Distributors, and Dealers and their relatives up to second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the promotion.

o. Promotion will run from November 15, 2008 till July 24, 2009.
