On Any Sunday MX Series Rd. 2 & 3

The country’s top riders as well as new motocross enthusiasts gear up for another exciting racing action as the On Any Sunday MX Series stages Round Two this Sunday, September 30, and a back to back event for Round Three to eb held on October 7, 2007 next Sunday at the Fast Track circuit in Taguig .

Participants must possess NAMSSA racing licenses and must have their own racing number installed in their machines according to national standings and the events safety standards are sanctioned by NAMSSA.

New motocross enthusiasts can take their shot at real racing action in the Enduro Class - with over 35 riders entered in the class ! Beginner Production and the Underbone classes while young potential champion kids can strut their skills in the Junior 85, Junior 65 and Peewee 50 divisions.

It will be a totally different experience for off road enthusiasts riders future considering the Fast Track Circuit is the first permanent and safe track that conforms with international standards just 15 minutes away from the heart of the Metro Manila, quipped Mayor Freddie Tinga of Taguig City. The FIM internationally accredited Fast Track Circuit banners a completely walled-in area furnished with a 5-star fully air conditioned clubhouse with suites and function hall which recently hosted the Asian Supercross Championships.

It also offers entertainment & seminar halls and also where spectators can relax and dine during the race aside from washing area facilities, public toilets & drivers pit area for their convenience. The multi-purpose venue is also equipped with air-conditioned suites and function halls with wide screen projectors for meetings, seminars and other corporate events like launchings, product demo for pick ups & SUV’s, trade shows and exhibits. ASIA SUPERCROSS Weekend

The start of the much awaited FIM Asian Supercross launches today with races for the first heat of the nationals on July 21 and tomorrow Sunday July 22, 2007 at the Fast Track Circuit in Upper Bicutan, Taguig City. The Fast Track Circuit, which is just 15 minutes away from the heart of the city, is totally new for most of the 10 country foreign riders thus giving Filipinos a real good hometown advantage in this series organized by the National Motorcycle Sports and Safety Association (NAMSSA) in cooperation with Xtreme Worx Philippines.

The event will also mark the first time in a decade that an international motocross event is being staged in Metro Manila, the last being held in 1997 in Marikina City and the last event in Puerto Princesa City. Mayor Freddie Tinga hailed this event as making Taguig City a landmark and motorsports capital of Metro Manila synonymous with the high tech image of motorsports racing with investments of locators in the City. “ We are privileged to be etched in Philippine Motorsports history by hosting this event in an international accredited racing facility at the Fast Track Circuit, bringing motorsports closer to the fans, press and all aficionados, quipped NAMSSA President Ken Falco. “The uphill and downhill routes, the treacherous narrow turns, the triple jumps, the whoop-de-doos, and the challenging table top will surely put their skills and strategy to test”, says Macky Carapiet, President, FIM Asian Supercross Commission.

Watch out for the Honda XRM Mono Make races and the San Mig Light Mountain Bike Challenge on Sunday at noon. The Fast Track Circuit is located in Upper Bicutan, Taguig City in front of the Camp Bagong Diwa and the rear side of the Taguig Hall of Justice Compound. Aguilar wins NAMMSA third leg

Defending champion Glenn Aguilar put on another show of talent supremacy as he swept both Pro Classes recently in the 2nd Mayor Tinga Cup - 2007 National Motorcycle Safety and Sports Association (NAMSSA) National third round at the newly-built Fast Track Circuit today in Upper Bicutan, Taguig City in front of Camp Bagong Diwa.

Aguilar, gearing up for the Asian Motocross leg in Guam next month, turned back long-time rival Bebet de la Cruz and Dondon Yuzon in dominating both the Pro Open and the Pro 125 classes of this event sponsored by Brothers Burger, Coca Cola, OZ Racing and YRS, Wildman Sandals.

FAST TRACK CIRCUIT TAGUIG A HAVEN FOR NAMSSA MOTOCROSS FANS THIS WEEKEND

Motocross fans can have a more convenient view of the intense action as the 2007 2nd Mayor Tinga Cup - National Motorcycle Safety and Sports Association (NAMSSA) National Series stages its third round at the newly-built Fast Track Circuit in Upper Bicutan, Taguig City infront of Camp Bagong Diwa.

The five-hectare Fast Track Circuit is a completely walled-in venue furnished with a 5-star fully air-conditioned suites that provides a full view of the exciting action for VIP’s and special guest.
It also has a fenced area to ensure the safety of spectators and other supporters who wants a closer view and experience of this event sponsored by Brothers Burger, Coca Cola, Inside Racing, Motorcyclephilipipnes.com, OZ Racing, Stoplight TV and YRS, Wildman Sandals. Organizers announced that this event is also in conjunction with Taguig’s 420th founding day. All rider participants are urged to install their own racing numes their bikes organizers announced.

Motocross of Nations Challenge Go Team Philippines !

The annual FIM Motocross of Nations event shall be held in Budds Creek , Maryland, USA this September 23, 2007. The last time this event was held in the USA was 20 years ago , so this event promises to be a big one !

The Motocross of Nations is the premier motocross event sanctioned by the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) and features an annual competition among National teams fielded by many of the FIM’s affiliated federations. Established in post-war Europe in 1947, the famed event has run uninterrupted since that time.

The 61st renewal of the world’s longest-running motocross championship will be held September 22-23, 2007, in scenic Southern Maryland, at Budds Creek Motocross Park. This will mark just the fourth time in all those years that the Motocross of Nations has ventured beyond Europe…the others were New York State in 1987, Western Australia in 1992 and tropical Brazil in 1999.
