Ride Report by JonCarlos

4:00 a.m. October 24 (Tuesday) eyeball at Shell Times Gas Station Las Piñas. Where’s everyone? Oh! There you are Sir Ramir! (tatlo palang kami! Vrian, Leemay and Sir Ramir. Naiwan na ba tayo?) And then Sir Kirby of Philippine Suzuki Riders Club- Las Piñas arrived followed by Ka Nestor of For The Road Riders Club, Sir Allan and Sir Ryan of Metro South Scoots. After an hour Sir Jon and Ma’am Kris arrived packed with their funny story about one of the Philippine Suzuki Riders Club- Las Piñas co-club member hahaha! We are all expecting to take off at 5:00 a.m. but then one of the Metro South Scoots member is still on his way (Sir Joel is that you?)

6:00 a.m. As soon as Sir Joel arrived the rest of us are all geared up (motorcycles FULL TANK) and ready to hit the road! Guy’s don’t forget SirAriz is waiting for as at Imus Toll Bridge. Munting Buhangin, Nasugbu Batangas here we come!

From Shell Times Las Piñas—Zapote Alabang Flyover—Bacoor—Imus—Tagaytay

7:30 a.m. We took our first stopover at 7-11 Tagaytay, rotonda to buy something to eat and drink. Drove a little more and took our second stopover at Lemery-Nasugbu intersection. Then rest for a moment at Calaca-Nasugbu for the third stopover. The forth was at Lian-Nasugbu Shell Station.
All of us enjoyed the looooooooooong stretches, the nature’s cool morning breeze and of course the beautiful view.

HERE WE ARE!

9:00 a.m. As we reach the final long stretch finally we reached Munting Buhangin. Can anyone describe the feeling? Nah! It’s Paradise! All the way down to the beach there is excitement and happiness in each one’s faces. Voila! “The Beach”. After paying the entrance fee by Sir Allan (the financer and Munting Buhangin future manager! What?), choosing our table and chairs set up on a beautiful spot under a coconut tree, we took off our shoes and feel the warm sand. Unpacked our things and changed to our swimming clothes. A non-stop picture taking, pH hunting (take note!), swimming etc., etc., oh wait! Let’s eat lunch! We took a little rest then go swimming again. All of a sudden someone is shouting at the shore (who’s that?) it’s Sir Rodmar of Philippine Suzuki Riders Club- Las Piñas he took 3 hours (like us!) just to get here at Munting Buhangin (boring daw magride mag-isa sabi ni Rodmar!)
We all have fun, the water is relaxing, the place is so beautiful. Some of us swims like a pro especially Sir Ariz (Metro South Scoots resident swimming instructor) and some of us just enjoyed the beautiful scenery while soaked in the water. Time runs fast we didn’t notice that it’s already 1:00 p.m. it’s time for us to get ready to go home…

1:00 p.m.
Relaxed and Energized now we’re ready to take off. The long stretches are again waiting for us. Before we reach Lemery-Nasugbu intersection we split into two groups. The first group includes the 2 Suzuki Raiders (Sir Jon and Ma’am Kris-back ride and Sir Kirby), Shogun (Sir Rodmar) and Joyride (Sir Ramir). The second group includes the SYM’s 2 Jet Euro (Sir Ariz and Sir Joel), Jet Alpha (Sir Vrian and Ma’am Leemay-back ride) and SYM cha-cha (Sir Allan). Both groups decided to meet at Mushroom Burger we’re Sir Mike of Philippine Suzuki Riders Club- Las Piñas and his girlfriend (sorry! no name irespeto daw yung privacy ni Sir Mike!) was waiting.

3:00 p.m
. As the two groups arrived we took our burger merienda and rest for a moment. The two groups are re-shuffled. The first group came home early and the second group went to Ka Nestor’s shop. Another day has passed we finished another ride, explored the beauty of Munting Buhangin beach resort, we are all safe and happy by God’s grace, protection and guidance and we are looking forward for the next exciting and unforgettable ride.
