We are extremely delighted to inform you that Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority is organizing several special events this year, one of which is the 1st Scootourista Festival in Subic Bay to be held in cooperation with over 3,000-member Scooter Enthusiasts from Olongapo, Zambales and Bataan on Saturday and Sunday, October 28-30, 2006. An exciting event that will feature different scooter clubs from all over Luzon riding to our beautiful and lively destination, Subic Bay , to enjoy a get together (eyeball) party by the bay, along Waterfront Strip with Live Bands and great food!

Apart from the many different accommodations in the area, a Scooter Camp is also available for our adventurous and friendly scooter enthusiasts to provide them a good venue for getting acquainted with other clubs. Of course, this event will not be complete without the trade show/exhibit and forum featuring all kinds of scooters, ride gears and accessories, among others.

For many years, Subic Bay has always been a favorite destination for tourists and even event organizers. We have hosted numerous local and international events from high profile meetings of world leaders such as the APEC Summit in 1996 to last year’s colorful and successful conduct of the South East Asian Games.

Now, we are inspired to push through with the hosting of the 1st Scootourista Festival in Subic Bay to provide a good venue for the growing number of scooter enthusiasts; to bring them together in one destination, so they may enjoy shared rides, the company of old and new friends, and learn / share ideas on the best use of scooters.
