2nd InsideRACING Grand Prix is Bigger and Better
The Second Annual InsideRACING Grand Prix (IRGP2) on November 29-30 at the Carmona Racetrack in Cavite promises to be better than the first edition.
1. Additional Race Class In addition to the four underbone Classes namely “Juniors Trophy”, “Master’s Trophy”, “115 Grand Prix” and “130 Grand Prix”, a new class for 4-stroke automatic scooters will be added. The “Automatic GP” will finally give a chance to riders, teams and munfacturers of automatic scooters to participate in this prestigious event.
2. Bigger Cash Prizes- P200,000 IRGP gave away P100,000 in cash prizes last year. This year, IRGP2 will give away double the amount to P200,000 in total for cash prizes and Special Awards. Each Race Class purse will increase form P25,000 to P40,000 paid down to 8th place with P15,000 going to each class winner. IRGP2 is the richest single race event in local underbone racing.
3. More Special Awards In addition to the “Manufacturer’s Award” given to the highest finishing Manufacturer Entry in each class. Two more special Awards shall be given to the racers. Each class will also have “The Fastest Qualifying Award “ given to the pole position winner after Saturday Qualifying and the “Best Privateer Award” for the highest finishing non-factory entry.
4. Additional IRGP2 Test Days IRGP teams will have two exclusive “IRGP Test Days” at the Carmona Race Track on November 23 (Sunday) and November 26 (Wednesday). This will give them ample trac time to practice and set-up their racebikes so that they will be in optimum condition come qualifying on Saturday.

Philippine Allied Enterprise is happy to renew its tire sponsorship for “The Second InsideRACING Grand Prix” (IRGP2), an annual GP-style raceevent sanctioned by NAMSSA for underbone motorcycle road racing that willtake place on November 29-30 at the Carmona Race Track in Cavite.

As proven in last year’s event, theone tire rule ensured equality among participants as they were all on thesame tire. Bridgestone helped Casey Stoner win the 2007 MotoGP World Championship in2007 on his Ducati. After its dominant performance, major teams switchedto their tires including Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi and Honda’s Dani Pedrosathe following year. Rossi then managed to wrestle back the World Crownwith Bridgestone in 2008. More importantly, Bridgestone-equipped ridersfinished in the top three over-all positions, all on different motorcycle brands.

Oriental and Motolite Marketing Corporations in happy to award the fastestqualifiers in “The Second InsideRACING Grand Prix” (IRGP2), an annualGP-style race event sanctioned by NAMSSA for underbone motorcycle roadracing that will take place on November 29-30 at the Carmona Race Track inCavite.
The “Motolite Pole Position Award” will be given to whoever qualifies thefastest in their respective racing classes during Sunday’s Qualifyingsessions. It will be awarded to the bravest rider who can lap the CarmonaRace Track in the shortest possible time. This will be in addition to his race purse winning.The “Motolite Pole Position Award” creates a separate goal that theriders will aim for during Qualifying sessions. The five winners will beawarded separate in the Podium before the first race on Sunday.

Eight Manufacturer Teams confirmed for IRGP2
Signifying the event’s continuous growth, eight (8) leading motorcycle manufacturers have confirmed their support and participation for “The Second InsideRACING Grand Prix (IRGP2)“, an annual GP-style race event sanctioned by NAMSSA for underbone motorcycle road racing that will take place on November 29-30 at the Carmona Race Track in Cavite.
The six IRGP pioneer motorcycle brands Kawasaki, Motorstar, PMR, Suzuki, Tiger, and Yamaha have all reconfirmed their participation and will be competing in their second IRGP.
In addition, two more manufacturer teams have joined the IRGP family. Kymco which is now a under a recently formed subsidiary of Taiwan, and MCX , a leading Filipino motorcycle brand, have both confirmed their participation in the annual motorcycle spectacle.
Truly an international flavor, IRGP2 will have three Japanese brands, two Chinese brands, a Filipino brand, a Taiwanese brand and one Thailand brand competing for the prestigious Manufacturers Awards in five Race Categories.
The eight Manufacturer Teams will field riders and will have proper garages decorated in corporate team colors.
