Posted by NAMSSA On November - 14 - 2007

The Shanghai Round to be held on Nov. 18th shall be the round 4 out of 4 Asian tour of the Asian Nations Road Race Championships Series that has been hosted in Japan, Indonesia ( 2 rounds ) and China. This is an Olympic style road race circuit event of which each FIM UAM Asian Member nation fields in two riders per country and the top riders of each of the two races score for their nations, accumulative to the winners .

The Philippine Team shall be composed of Macky Carapiet, FIM UAM Vice President and riders Maico Buncio and John Lerry Enriquez. the top two riders are the powerhouse moto team for 2008 as both these riders have topped the national series underbone races at the Batangas Racing Circuit, events of which are sanctioned by NAMSSA.

The NAMSSA strategic planning for its future direction is in line with these projects. As we develop local motorsports events and talents to gather the grassroots riders nationally, and then NAMSSA awards the winners of their top national series to international races to represent the country. It has worked in the past and other FIM member countries too.

The event shall be held at Tian Ma Circuit in Shanghai and they shall be racing in 150cc GP bike machines. The event is hosted by the Chinese Motorsports Association (CMSA) and sanctioned by the UAM Asian Motorcycle Commission. Team is supported by PSC, motorcyclephilipines.com & Inside Racing Magazine. Ride report by napperz

After months of waiting, the time for NORTH LOOP finally came!!

October 25-29, 2007 has long been marked in our calendars. These days will play a very important role in our life. We will be traveling more than 1,400 kilometers using our motorcycles. We will be going to beautiful and historical places that we were not able to do using our four-wheel cage.

So here it is….

My wife Ivy and I arrived at Ever’s place around 1:10am and there we found Anthony and Pong fixing their things. Then the rest of the pack followed (Ronald, Kang & Jane, Kris, Beni & Cel, Arnold, Jay, Cliff & Bea, Harffer, Verly). Almost everyone was surprised when Vice Ever paraded his new Hayate and Harffer with his new Raider R150. While waiting, some took coffee, bread and biscuits as “baon” to the long journey ahead. Where are Victor and Jhey? Well, we just met them in Monumento to cut their trip going to Tondo. Cliff led the prayer and then we started our journey going to Tuguegarao around 2:10am.
