On Any Sunday Fast Track races moved to Oct. 7

The On Any Sunday MX races slated for tomorrow, September 30 at the Fast Track Ciruit in Taguig City is moved for October 7, 2007 for force majeure reasons and climactic conditions due to typhoon Hanna. Please be advised accordingly, for updates tune in to www.namssa.org

On Any Sunday MX Series Rd. 2 & 3

The country’s top riders as well as new motocross enthusiasts gear up for another exciting racing action as the On Any Sunday MX Series stages Round Two this Sunday, September 30, and a back to back event for Round Three to eb held on October 7, 2007 next Sunday at the Fast Track circuit in Taguig .

Participants must possess NAMSSA racing licenses and must have their own racing number installed in their machines according to national standings and the events safety standards are sanctioned by NAMSSA.

New motocross enthusiasts can take their shot at real racing action in the Enduro Class – with over 35 riders entered in the class ! Beginner Production and the Underbone classes while young potential champion kids can strut their skills in the Junior 85, Junior 65 and Peewee 50 divisions.

It will be a totally different experience for off road enthusiasts riders future considering the Fast Track Circuit is the first permanent and safe track that conforms with international standards just 15 minutes away from the heart of the Metro Manila, quipped Mayor Freddie Tinga of Taguig City. The FIM internationally accredited Fast Track Circuit banners a completely walled-in area furnished with a 5-star fully air conditioned clubhouse with suites and function hall which recently hosted the Asian Supercross Championships.

It also offers entertainment & seminar halls and also where spectators can relax and dine during the race aside from washing area facilities, public toilets & drivers pit area for their convenience. The multi-purpose venue is also equipped with air-conditioned suites and function halls with wide screen projectors for meetings, seminars and other corporate events like launchings, product demo for pick ups & SUV’s, trade shows and exhibits. MCPF Renews Relations with MPD

Motorcycle Philippines Federation Directors Jojo Medina and Atoy Sta. Cruz was called upon Manila Police Department Director Col. Danilo Abarzosa thru Col. Pablo Francisco Balagtas chief for intelligence for the Manila Police District and also MCPF Director for Police relations.

Director Abarzosa wanted to renew the existing relationship between MCPF and MPD which was started by his predecessor Gen. Pete Bulaong. MCPF has been cooperating with MPD as force multipliers to Maintain Peace and Order for the city of Manila

Motorcycle Exclusions

Let me repost an article written by Inquirer writer and fellow rider Randy David. It has an interesting point of view on all the discussions regarding the total Motorcycle ban on the freeways. It presents no side, has no biases instead presents the situation as it really is.

I remember the first time I drove a motorcycle on the expressway. It was 1967, and the new North Diversion Road (as it was then called) was almost finished, although it had not yet officially opened. I realized then that some motorcycles are made for open highways, while others do better on city roads. The concept of “limited access highways” was new in our country.

New: On Any Sunday MX Series at Fast Track Circuit

 The Fast Track Circuit located in Upper Bicutan , Taguig City would wish to announce the On Any Sunday (OAS ) Supercross Series to be  held this year. The following dates and classes are to be run.The event is organized by Xtreme Worx and sanctioned by NAMSSA and has an invitational status.                                                                                                                                                                     

On Any Sunday MX Series (OAS Mx ) Classes to be run are: Enduro Class, Beginner Production, Novice Production, Underbone, Veterans, PRO, Junior 85, Junior 65, PW50
