After months of BSRC’s Hibernation(May to August), the group got “hungry” for a ride again, even just a quickie ride will do and for our skuts to rev on open roads again.
2 days before the ride, Ding and George proposed a short ride, they’ll be picking up some SYM Skut parts they ordered from Speedwin, San Fernando, La Union.
Sunday, September 10, 2006 at 9AM, 10 BSRCs meet up at Petron, Naguillian Road, Baguio.

Whew!!! What a weekend!!! It’s like a dream come true for me. Never did I imagine myself in this situation because I am a professional working at Makati. But yes, it happened, I’ve just had my first official race at the Batangas Racing Circuit last Sunday, September 10, 2006. I did participate in the annual Endurance Race and not only that, I’ve got the chance to race with the top racers in our country like Jolet Jao, Maico Buncio, and other pro racers. But let me tell you first my preparations before the race…

MY APOLOGIES AND OFFER

I know what Saiman Rushdie must have felt after Muslim religious leaders issued a fatwa that essentially made it th religious obligation of all msulims to cut off his head on sight. That was after he wrote something that was deemed blasphemous and inimical to Islam.

I’ve learned from our editor that something i wrote has caused quite a stir among motorcycle enthusiasts. And something akin to the fatwa on Rushdie was issued by a good number of people in motorcycle forums on the Internet. A friend who also was the subject of some heated emalils and threads in motorcycle forums even advised us to lay low for while.

THE BIG UNDERBONE ROAD RACE SERIES UNFOLDS SEPT. 17 AT BRC

Promising underbone road race riders will now have their chance to shine in the forthcoming three-leg 2006 Philippine Underbone King Championship Series kicking off on September 17 at the Batangas Racing Circuit.
