CutieGP 2006

Yesterday, March 29, 2006, the Carmona Racing Circuit was again the venue of an invasion, this time by the Cute Riders during their first ever Cutie GP.

Spearheaded by forum member boylit, several dyed in the wool big bike enthusiasts decided to test their skills on the track, but this time on cute little scoots.

The Yellow Shoe Movement

28

March

Recently, on the MCP Forum, several riders adopted the symbol of “Yellow Shoes” as their protest against “Pasaway (hard-headed) Riders” on the road. According to the thread starter, geraldo3, in his first post…..

The Yellow Shoe MovementWith the recent turn of events here at MCP, the “Yellow Shoes Mania” came about, causing forumers to change their avatars to “Yellow Shoes”

History check would be the thread starting with the I’m sorry .. and ending up with all of us here in MCP is salbahe.

To cut the story short, the cause of this thread is we, the Xplorers Philippines had decided to change our Avatars to “Yellow Shoes” in protest against “Pasaway Riders” being one the MCP Clubs that were directly hit by the tirades of the “pasaway rider”.

Actually, we plan to use the avatar in the forum for at least a month, and maybe, even actually wear yellow shoes in one of our group rides.

Yellow Shoes in protest againts Pasaway Riders … are you one of us?

Whether merely in jest or in good fun, they have certainly struck a vein in the community which has long been suffering from a bad reputation brought about by a small minority of such riders.

See what else they have to say, express support or voice your dissent, the thread is located here.

MCPF/PSF at NAIA Terminal 3

Members of the Philippines Scooter Federation under the MotorcylePhilippines Federation and Bantay Turista Foundation were invited as guests for the dry run of the of the new Ninoy Aquino International Airport. The riders were there to act as if they were the passengers going to and from Hong Kong. The Manila International Airport Authorities subjected the riders to the different procedures at the airport including security, immigration and customs.

The MCPF/PSF rider clubs that participated included the Road Raiders, XXX ,Xtreme and the Manila Bikers Club who took off from their busy schedules just to participate in this historic event.

It was a treat for the riders since MCPF/PSF was the first ever NGO’s to step inside the new airport terminal which is expected to open soon. This exercise is supposed to be done about a few more times before the actual opening of the new terminal.

More photos of the event are available for viewing here.
