On July 4, 2005, Motorcycle Philippines Federation (MCPF) directors Jake Swann and Jojo Medina visited the office of Councilor Richard Advincula the proponent of a proposed ordinance for Pasay City banning backrides. After a brief discussion about MCPF and the program of the organization in assisting the law enforcement authorities in it’s anti crime campaign, the councilor immediately assured the directors that he will drop his proposed ordinance.
Councilor Advincula is now one with the Motorcycle Philippines Federation in it’s stand to create laws that are pro-motorcyclists but anti criminal in activities using motorcycles as a tool to commit crime such as holdup, driveby shooting, snatching etc.

About 50 Motorcycle club leaders from the Motorcycle Philippines Federation (MCPF) assembled at the Western Police district headquarters in Ermita, Manila to witness the formal signing of a Memorandum of Agreement for Cooperation between the Western Police District represented by it’s chief, Gen Pedro Bulaong and Jojo Medina, Director for Operations for the Motorcycle Philippines Federation and leader of the Philippine Scooter Federation.
