Leaders of over 60 motorcycle and scooter clubs, some from as far away as Quezon Province represented by their federation president Mr. Albert Garcia, attended a pre jamboree seminar at Motortrade cubao for for those who will be marshals during the bicol jamboree on May 6.

Mr. Atoy Sta Cruz, Director for membership for MCPF & PSF and Jojo Medina Director for Operations of MCPF & PSF gave out some pointers that the riders should follow and what to do during the 3 days of nonstop bicol jamboree action.

The program was started by lecturer for safety Mr. Val Curamen of the Motorcycle Development Program Participant’s Association (MDPPA). Mr. Curamen gave some useful and practical safety tips for the club leaders and handed out group ride hand signals that will be followed during the jamboree.

The Bicol Jamboree will start on May 6, 2005. The assembly point for Manila region riders will be the Luneta Grandstand at 5 a.m. The motorcade will move off at 6 a.m. sharp. This motorcade to Bicol is expected to gather over 2,000 riders starting with about 1,000 from Manila and then will be joined by various riding clubs on the way to Bicol. In Bicol the riders will be met by over 1,000 riders from various bicol bike clubs and federations.

The Bicol Jamboree promises 3 days of non stop activities visiting the tourist spots of the region and nightly fellowship parties for riders. Presidential Son Congressman Mikey Arroyo will be the guest of honor at the Jamboree. The motortrade group headed by Mr. Jhun Pillas the regional manager of nearby provinces sponsored the pre jamboree seminar.
