1st Asian Bikers Conference and Exhibit

Coming after last year’s successful 1st Philippine Bikers Conference and Exhibit, ExpoPlus, Inc. and Bikers Brotherhood is again organizing the 2nd of such event, dubbed “The First Asian Bikers Conference and Exhibit. This event will be held on Saturday and Sunday, September 2 – 3, 2006 a the Le Pavillion (along Macapagal Ave beside Toyota)

The 1st Asian Bikers Conference and Exhibit will be open from 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM on September 2 and from 9:00 Am – 9:00 PM on September 3.
The Event will feature exhibits from motorcycle manufacturers and dealers, motorcycle and biker accessories and other biker related products. Speakers will also talk about motorcycle riders history in the Philippines, safety, rights, etc. Event venue is air-conditioned and enclosed so you can hang around in comfort all day long.
If you went to the 1st Philippine Bikers Conference and Exhibit last year…..you know how much fun and exciting the event was. This year we guarantee double the excitement and double the fun through the many activities we have prepared for our brother bikers.
Event Activities:
1ST ASIAN BIKERS CONFERENCE AND EXHIBIT MOTORCADE
A motorcade from Quirino Grandstand in Manila to Le Pavillion in Pasay will travel along Roxas Blvd. Bike Clubs are encouraged to attend. Free shirts and stuff for the participants.
TRADE EXHIBIT
An exhibit of over 25 booths featuring motorcycle manufacturers and dealers, motorcycle accessories and services, biker gear and safety equipment, and other biker related items. New products will also be launched during the event
FILM SHOWING
Bikers movies, stunts, safety films will be shown through out the duration of the event.
HOURLY RAFFLES
We will give away an average of 5 raffle prizes every our on the hour…so stick around…because you have to be present to claim your prize
CONFERENCE (topics subject to change)
Speakers will talk on topics such as:
History of Motorcycle Riding in the Philippines
The Fight for Bikers Rights: An Update
Law Enforcement and Biker Rights on the Road
And other topics
MC PHOTO CONTEST
A photo contest of the best ride/ club activities pictures will be conducted.
Mechanics:
- must be printed in 5R size Fuji Paper
- maximum of 3 pics per club
- limited to MC clubs who will set up a booth during the event
Criteria for Judging:
30% - Composition (is the pic well focused/ centered)
30% - Content (is the pic regarding human interest/ rides/ activities)
30% - Difficulty (was the subject moving/ stolen shot)
10% - Judges discretion
FREE BOOTHS FOR MC CLUBS
All MC Clubs are invited to set up a exhibit of their activities, recruit members, sell products for fund raising (except food and drinks or products that may conflict with the exhibitors)
MC clubs will be provided with a 2m x 2m booth with signage and table, carpeting, lights. The only requirement to avail of the free booth is :
- it must be manned all throughout the exhibit
- send a representative to the biker beauty contest
- join the photo exhibit
“BIKER KA NA BA?” GROUP/ MC CLUB CONTEST
A contest fashioned after the popular TV game show “GAME KAN NA BA” will be conducted. Questions regarding the exhibitor’s products/ services will be asked and must be answered through multiple choice. Six groups consisting of 5 members each may join. As the questions are answered correctly the group advances until it reaches the finish line. Each group has two “reverse” cards that they may use to send back the other teams back.
The first group that reaches the finish line wins. Prizes will be provided by the exhibitors and sponsors. This contest will be held once every event day. Registration to this event will be on a first-come-first-serve basis during the event proper.
SOLVE THE PUZZLE GROUP/ MC CLUB CONTEST
A puzzle containing the sponsors logos must be solved before the time limit. The first team that solves the puzzle wins.
Each team will be composed of 5 members and there will be 4 teams. This contest will be held once every event day. Registration to this event will be on a first-come-first-serve basis during the event proper. Prizes will be provided by the sponsors.
OUTDOOR WALLCLIMBING
A 30 foot climbing wall will installed during the event. Use of this facility is free of charge. As an added bonus, the fastest climber for each hour will be given a prize…but you must be around to claim your prize.
All necessary harnesses, lines, belay personnel will be provided.
MOTORCYCLE TEST RIDES
Test the exhibitors rides on a more than 200meter enclosed area. Test area for off road vehicles are also provided. Wearing of helmets during the test rides is a must.
THE BIKE BARATILLO
Having trouble selling your bike? Want it to be viewed by at least 4,000 bikers? Join the Bike Baratillo and display your bike in a safe, and covered environment for a minimal fee. Contact the organizers to reserve your space as slots are limited.
Only properly registered bikes will be accepted.
MINI CONCERT
No bike event will be complete with out a band. Watch and listen to a whole genre of songs from the ‘80s, ‘90’s and the present in the evening of September 2, 2006.
THE 2006 BIKER BEAUTY CONTEST
This is one of the most awaited segments of the Event! The 2nd Ms. Biker Beauty Pageant.
Qualifications to join:
- Must be endorsed (as its representative) by any exhibitor/ sponsor/ MC club exhibitor of the 1st Asian Bikers Conference and Exhibit
- Between 18 – 27 years old
- At least 5’2 in height
Criteria for judging:
30% - Beauty of Face
30% - Beauty of Body
20% - “Bikeresque” Beauty (the biker IT factor)
20% - Poise and Charm

The 1st Asian Bikers Conference and Exhibit is the perfect venue for bikers and non bikers alike to see the latest trends in the motorcycle industry and to bask in the fellowship of fellow riders.
Also, unlike in our event last year, there will be several food concessionaires to serve you. By the way…..parking for motorcycles is free……
